Shamanic Ceremonies for the Child and the Child Within

About the Authors November 13, 2010

Kat Inksetter (l), Ann Dickie (m), and Jennifer Engracio (r)

Ann Dickie (Shining Waters) is a grandmother, mother, and fabric artist.  Ever since she was a child, she has known she was a spiritual being connected to all things.  Thirteen years ago, she began studying shamanism.  During that time, she has done ceremonies with children aged five to twelve.  It is her dream that more children, along with their parents and/or guardians experience ceremony as a way to develop their higher selves, connect with the natural world, and learn from and about each other.

Jennifer Engracio (Snow Hawk) is a certified teacher who has worked in the public school system and with home learning families for fourteen years.  She comes from a Catholic background and has been a student of shamanism for seven years.  She has a nephew named Noah, a niece named Sophie and a whole slew of little cousins- not to mention two goddaughters, Hanna and Paige, all of whom she loves a ton.  She has a deep passion for working with children as well as great respect and reverence for their magical worldview.

Katherine Inksetter (Quick Fox) is a visual artist and published kid’s book author currently living in London, England.  She has two nieces living in Canada that she visits as often as she can.  Katherine has been studying and practicing shamanism for over a decade.
